Possibly the same thing happens with any thick dough. It is always necessary to test and adjust the ingredients little by little until you achieve the mixture that you like best. If you want to add nuts or seeds, the bread maker will notify you with a loud beep when you should do so.
The following is important. Of the 3 crust modes, I tried the light one because it is the one I always prefer, I like breads with soft shells, and I must say that it was still a little more toasted than I expected, so I dare say that both the medium crust and dark crust modes are a little more intense than you would normally expect. Of course, it is a matter of taste, and it will also vary depending on the recipe and type of bread you make, that is, the light crust mode will give a slightly different result if you use it on white bread or whole wheat bread, or in any other combination.
